Saturday’s NBA DFS Predictions
The NBA Schedule for Saturday, March 3, 2018 features a total of seven games. Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy predictions for the action taking place tonight.
Point Guard – Blazers’ Damian Lillard (vs. Oklahoma City, 10PM ET) $9,400
Lillard is on a hot streak right now, posting at least 50 fantasy points in three straight, yet he still has a salary below $10K. Tonight he has a matchup with Russell Westbrook and the Thunder, which is likely to be an offensive showcase. Lillard posted 36 points and 13 assists in a meeting with the Thunder earlier this year and I think he can do something similar tonight.
Latest NBA odds for Friday, March 3, 2018
Shooting Guard – Lakers’ Isaiah Thomas (at San Antonio, 9PM ET) $5,500
Thomas finally showed some flashes of his old self on Thursday night when he scored 29 points with six assists and four rebounds against the Heat. His minutes have increased in each of his last three games and the Lakers may be ready to let Thomas be a bigger part of the offense. The matchup with San Antonio isn’t ideal, but Thomas has four straight games with double digits in scoring. If he is given the time, he can produce big fantasy numbers. With his cheap price tonight, he is worth the risk.
Small Forward – Celtics’ Marcus Smart (at Houston, 8:30PM ET) $4,700
Smart hasn’t been terribly productive since coming back from a hand injury, but today’s matchup with Houston provides a chance for him to have a fantasy scoring surge. Smart is Boston’s top defender and likely to see some extended minutes against James Harden, which should lead to some improved offensive numbers. He had 13 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks over 34 minutes against the Rockets in the only other meeting this season.
Bet on NBA for Friday, March 3, 2018
Power Forward – Lakers’ Julius Randle (at San Antonio, 9PM ET) $7,300
Randle is another player on a nice fantasy run as of late. He has scored at least 38 fantasy points over his last five games, logging at least 30 minutes in his last seven contests. During this seven-game stretch, Randle is averaging 20.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists. Randle’s price tag is slowly climbing up, but he is out-performing his value by a wide margin. With LaMarcus Aldridge doubtful with an ankle injury and Pau Gasol questionable with his knee, Randle should be able to dominate tonight.
Center – Magic’s Nikloa Vucevic (vs. Memphis, 7PM ET) $7,100
Vucevic showed he is back to his old form on Friday night when he put up 22 points with 12 rebounds and six assists against the Pistons. He faces the Grizzlies tonight and should be able to rack up the fantasy points tonight as well. While the back-to-back concerns me a little, a lot of teams played on Friday night. Vucevic has a great price tag for what he’s capable of. I think he is someone that can produce 50 fantasy points regularly when logging 30+ minutes, which he should do tonight.
