Friday’s NBA DFS Picks
The NBA Schedule for Friday, March 9, 2018 features a near full slate of 10 games. Here’s some suggested plays for the night.
Point Guard – Pelicans’ Jrue Holiday (vs. Washington, 8PM ET) $8,500
With Anthony Davis dealing with an injury, the focus for the Pelicans turns to Holiday. He will have to be the one to step up tonight and lead the team against the Wizards. Holiday has been very productive as of late, scoring at least 44 fantasy points in his last three games, including 57 against the Clippers when he posted 19 points and 17 assists. Tonight’s game should see Holiday do a little bit of everything and get back into the 50-fantasy point range.
Latest NBA odds for Friday, March 9, 2018
Shooting Guard – Grizzlies’ Ben McLemore (vs. Utah, 8PM ET) $4,800
McLemore has been producing well in his last two appearances, scoring a combined 71 fantasy points. Memphis has a lot of injuries with Tyreke Evans, Mario Chalmers and Andrew Harrison also questionable to play. That means more run for McLemore and his price tag is very cheap. He has logged 38 minutes in his last two appearances. If he gets the same time today, he will definitely out-perform his value.
Small Forward – Magic’s Jonathon Simmons (at Sacramento, 10PM ET) $4,700
Another interesting cheap option worth considering tonight is Simmons. The Magic have some injuries to deal with as Aaron Gordon is out with a concussion and Evan Fournier is doubtful with a knee injury. That means more minutes and more scoring options for Simmons. Tonight is a matchup advantage as well. The Kings have struggled with forwards this year, which means Simmons should definitely out-perform his value and have the potential to double it.
Bet on NBA for Friday, March 9, 2018
Power Forward – Cavs’ LeBron James (at L.A. Clippers, 10:30PM ET) $11,500
LeBron hits the road to go to Los Angeles, where he will be looking to put on a show tonight. James is our big-money suggestion for the night. He has been playing some of his best basketball as of late, by his own admission. James has scored at least 64 fantasy points in four of his last six games. His last meeting with the Clippers saw him put up 39 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists.
Center – Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell (vs. Cleveland, 10:30PM ET) $5,400
More of a power forward, Harrell has value at center tonight with a small price tag against the Cavs. Cleveland doesn’t have much in the size department with it running Larry Nance Jr. as its big. That opens the door for Harrell to see more playing time tonight. He put up 40.5 fantasy points in 31 minutes against the Pelicans. Harrell also has scored 19 points or more in three of his last four games.
