NBA DFS Predictions: Is Russell Westbrook a must play on Thursday? 2/22/18

Thursday’s NBA DFS Predictions

The NBA returns to action tonight with six games on the docket. Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy Predictions for Thursday’s action.

Point Guard – Thunder’s Russell Westbrook (at Sacramento, 10PMET) $11,500

We start with the biggest salary of the night. Westbrook is coming off a triple-double at Memphis before the break and now faces a Sacramento team with little talent to offer. Westbrook has gotten at least 50 fantasy points in his last six games and tonight seems like a game where he can really explode. He was one assist shy of a triple-double in the last meeting with the Kings.

Latest odds for Thunder vs. Kings

Shooting Guard – Bulls’ Kris Dunn (vs. Philadelphia, 8PM ET) $6,800

After being on a minutes limitation before the break, that is believed to be over for Dunn going into tonight’s game. He faces a Philadelphia team that has struggled against point guards in recent outings. Dunn also has had some of his better outings against Philly, as he posted 22 points with six assists, four rebounds and two steals on Dec. 18 at home against the 76ers.

Small Forward – Clippers’ Tobias Harris (at Golden State, 10:30PM ET) $6,400

Harris looks to be a new focal point for the Clippers following his trade from Detroit. He has been logging big minutes in the lineup and will likely do the same against the Warriors in a game destined to be a shootout. Already averaging over 17 points and just under 7 rebounds per game while with Los Angeles, look for those numbers to take a jump up tonight.

Bet on Clippers vs. Warriors

Power Forward – Knicks’ Enes Kanter (at Orlando, 7PM ET) $7,600

The season-ending injury to Kristaps Porzingis opens the door for Kanter to really raise his stock in fantasy production. He put up 52.5 points against the Wizards before the break and has scored at least 40 in three of his last four games. Kanter also has recorded nine straight double-doubles. Tonight he gets to face the Magic, who are working back Nikola Vucevic from a two-month injury, so there is bound to be some rust.

Center – Hornets’ Dwight Howard (vs. Brooklyn, 7PM ET) $8,400

Dwight Howard was a suggested play last week before the break and he put up 46.25 points with his second straight double-double. I like Howard again tonight against the Nets. Brooklyn has given up the most fantasy points to opposing centers. On his home floor, Howard is averaging 13.7 rebounds and 16.1 points per game. He also adds close to 2 blocks per game at home. Look for him to rack up the fantasy points tonight.
