Saturday’s NBA Daily Fantasy Picks
The NBA Schedule for Saturday, March 10, 2018 features five games, but only four are in play for Daily Fantasy Leagues. Here’s our suggested picks for the night.
Point Guard – Mavericks’ Dennis Smith Jr. (vs. Memphis, 8:30PM ET) $6,800
The Mavs are well rested and will face a Grizzlies team that lost last night to the Jazz. Memphis should be a bit slow, which opens the door for Smith Jr. and the Mavs to get out and run on offense. The rookie point guard has surpassed 40 fantasy points in his last two games and has 31+ in his last four. I think this is a great matchup for him tonight. I look for a double-double in points and assists along with a few rebounds and steals in over 30 minutes of work.
Latest NBA odds for Saturday, March 10, 2018
Shooting Guard – Magic’s Jonathon Simmons (at L.A. Clippers, 10:30PM ET) $5,400
The Magic continue to have injury issues which have thrust Simmons into a scoring option. He put up 25 points with five rebounds last night in Sacramento, scoring 34.25 fantasy points in the process. I think he has another strong matchup tonight against the Clippers in a game that could be a track meet. Simmons has played 35 minutes in each of his last two games out of necessity, so look for more time tonight and another fantasy game above 30 points.
Small Forward – Clippers’ Tobias Harris (vs. Orland, 10:30PM ET) $8,100
Harris has really been a great option since joining the Clippers and tonight’s matchup with the Magic is too good to pass up. Orlando is one of the worst defensive teams in the league and the Clippers like to get out and score. Harris has scored 23 points or more in his last three games and produced 40+ fantasy points in all three. He has collected 26 rebounds in his last three games and also has the potential for multiple assists, steals and blocks. I think Harris has a big night.
Bet on NBA for Saturday, March 10, 2018
Power Forward – Thunder’s Paul George (vs. San Antonio, 8:30PM ET) $7,700
While Westbrook is the OKC player you most consider, I think a game against San Antonio will be tough for Russell to hit his value. However, I think George can be a strong play tonight against the Leonard-less Spurs. George will have a matchup advantage at all times and he only logged 29 minutes in the last game due to foul trouble. He should be able to push longer minutes tonight and produce over 40 fantasy points in a favorable matchup. While San Antonio is good defensively, they give up a lot of rebounds to the power forward position. I think George has double-double potential tonight.
Center – Heat’s Kelly Olynyk (vs. Washington, 7:30PM ET) $4,800
A cheap tag, Olynyk is someone that is producing steady around 25 fantasy points with the potential to climb into the high 30’s. Tonight’s matchup has the potential to feature small lineups, which means Olynyk could get more run at center. He has been consistently putting up rebound and scoring numbers when on the floor and also has good assist numbers for a center. While he’s not likely to put up 20 points or 15 rebounds, he can push for a double-double while approaching 5+ assists.
