NBA DFS Predictions: Who should you play on Thursday, March 15, 2018?

NBA Predictions: Will Timberwolves Cover Point Spread vs. Jazz? 3/2/18 NBA Predictions: Will Timberwolves Cover Point Spread vs. Jazz? 3/2/18

Thursday’s NBA DFS Picks

The NBA Schedule for Thursday, March 15 features nine games. Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy suggestions for the night.

Point Guard – Raptors’ Fred VanVleet (at Indiana, 7PM ET) $4,400

A very cheap option, VanVleet has the potential to have another nice game tonight after posting 27.25 fantasy points at Brooklyn on Wednesday. Norman Powell is unlikely to play, so VanVleet is likely to see more time on the court again tonight against the Pacers. He has double-figures in scoring over his last three games and he is definitely a player that should play over value tonight.

Latest NBA odds for Thursday, March 15, 2018

Shooting Guard – Jazz’ Donovan Mitchell (vs. Phoenix, 9PM ET) $7,400

Mitchell has been a top candidate for Rookie of the Year and he has scored 32 fantasy points or more in seven straight games. Mitchell is a scoring option for the Jazz and he is able to rack up numbers in rebounds, assists and steals. Tonight, Mitchell meets up with the Suns, a team that plays no defense. I would expect Mitchell to push for over 40 fantasy points tonight with the potential to really put up a high number.

Small Forward – 76ers’ J.J. Redick (at New York, 7:30PM ET) $5,000

Redick has a nice matchup tonight against the Knicks. He is averaging 21 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 steals over two games with the Knicks this season. The 3-point sniper should get plenty of looks from 3-point land tonight as New York is 27th in the league at defending the arc. With his low price tag, I think Redick has the ability to outplay his value.

Bet on NBA for Thursday, March 15, 2018

Power Forward – Pelicans’ Anthony Davis (at San Antonio, 8:30PM ET) $11,500

The matchup may not be ideal, but Davis is the safest bet to get over 55 fantasy points and he has the potential to go in the 70-90 range as well. LeBron, Lillard and the others seem to have a ceiling around 50-60 points. Davis has scored 67 or more in three of his last four and has a triple-double during the run. Over his last 10 games he is averaging 32 points, 13.2 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game.

Center – Blazers’ Jusuf Nurkic (vs. Cleveland, 10PM ET) $6,400

Nurkic is coming off a 57.5-fantasy point performance against the Heat this week and he has put up at least 36 fantasy points in five of his last 10 games. Tonight he takes on the Cavs, who have some injury issues in their frontcourt. He put up 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in his other meeting with Cleveland. I expect him to continue to dominate the glass. He has picked up double figures in boards in three of his last four games.
