Thursday’s NBA DFS Picks
The NBA Schedule for Thursday, March 8, 2018 features a total of five games. Who should you insert into your fantasy lineup for today?
Point Guard – Nets’ DeAngelo Russell (at Charlotte, 7PM ET) $6,700
Russell has been a great play as of late. When playing 30+ minutes he has produced 40 or more fantasy points. He is coming off 20 points and eight assists against the Warriors and now heads to Charlotte as the Nets’ leader in usage. With a reasonable price tag, I expect Russell to be a focal point in the scoring while racking up a handful of assists to easily out-play his value.
Latest NBA odds for Thursday, March 8, 2018
Shooting Guard – Celtics’ Marcus Smart (at Minnesota, 8PM ET) $5,300
With Kyrie Irving dealing with a knee injury, Smart could see an increase in production and minutes. Smart has a very affordable price for a matchup against a Minnesota team that ranks in the bottom half of the league defensively. Smart put up 18 points against the Timberwolves in the first meeting and I expect better things tonight.
Small Forward – Suns’ Devin Booker (at Oklahoma City, 8PM ET) $8,900
Booker is a little pricy but I think he will have another big scoring game against Oklahoma City, in what could be a shootout. Booker has taken at least 20 shot attempts in seven of his last eight games. Against the Thunder, Booker is averaging 32.5 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists per game this season. Booker should definitely push for 50 fantasy points tonight.
Bet on NBA for Thursday, March 8, 2018
Power Forward – Heat’s Justise Winslow (vs. Philadelphia, 7:30PM ET) $4,500
Winslow is having a nice run right now and his price remains cheap. Winslow has scored in double figures in four straight games, which includes a double-double against Phoenix. Over his last three home games, Winslow has produced 101.75 fantasy points. As long as Winslow continues to get 30 minutes of playing time, he will easily out play his value.
Center – Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns (vs. Boston, 9PM ET) $9,300
The Celtics really struggle with big men which means Towns should have a monster game tonight. He produced just 20 fantasy points against the Jazz after being ejected in the second quarter. Look for him to bounce back in a big way tonight against Boston. Towns had scored at least 60 fantasy points in his previous two games prior to that. I expect more of the same tonight.
