NBA DFS Predictions: Will LeBron James dominate the 76ers? 3/1/18

Thursday’s NBA DFS Predictions

There are just four games taking place in the NBA on Thursday night, Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy Predictions and suggestions for the day.

Point Guard – Kings’ DeAaron Fox (vs. Brooklyn, 10PM ET) $5,600

Fox has seen an increased role in the offense lately, scoring 13 points in three straight. While that scoring output isn’t eye-popping, he has racked up 19 assists over his last three games as well. With extended minutes, Fox is able to help the offense produce and develop a stat line that can contend for 30 fantasy points. With a cheap price, I expect Fox to have another strong showing tonight against a bad Brooklyn defense.

Latest odds for Nets vs. Kings

Shooting Guard – Heat’s Dwyane Wade (vs. L.A. Lakers, 7:30PM ET) $5,000

Wade has looked like a bit of a fossil this season, but he showed signs of his old self on Tuesday by scoring 27 points against the 76ers on 10 of 16 shooting. While you can’t expect this performance often, the Heat could be without Tyler Johnson tonight. Johnson is listed as questionable for the game. Even if he should play, he is likely to be limited or on a minutes restriction. Wade will see extended minutes tonight and likely be a bigger part of the offense than normal. Given his very cheap price, Wade should definitely perform above value.

Small Forward – Cavaliers’ LeBron James (vs. Philadelphia, 8PM ET) $11,900

James is rolling right now, posting a triple-double in two of his last three games. He has scored at least 54 fantasy points in eight straight games with five of his last eight producing at least 60 points. Tonight’s game is nationally televised against the 76ers and Joel Embiid, so I expect James to be ready to put on another show. Against Philly this season, James is averaging 30 points, 13.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game.

Bet on 76ers vs. Cavaliers

Power Forward – Nets’ Jarrett Allen (at Sacramento, 10PM ET) $4,900

Another cheap, but rising option, is Allen. Since the All-Star Break, Allen has become a focal point in the Brooklyn offense. He has posted at least 23 fantasy points in each of the three games, including 37.75 against the Bulls. Allen is scoring in double figures and pushing for double digits in rebounds. He also has multiple blocks in two of his last three games. Allen should surely out-perform his salary tonight.

Center – Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns (at Portland, 10:30PM ET) $9,600

Towns is someone you can feel good spending a little more for. Since the injury to Jimmy Butler, Towns has been stepping up his game. He has five straight double-doubles with three being at least 20 points. Double-doubles have been a regular thing for Towns this season and tonight should be no different. With Butler out, Towns is taking it upon himself to be more assertive on both sides of the ball.
