NBA Finals Odds: Warriors favored entering the 2017-18 season 10/16/17

Updated NBA Finals Odds

With the 2017-18 NBA Season set to tip-off tomorrow, here is one last look at the odds to win the NBA Finals this season.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Golden State Warriors are listed at -200 to win the NBA Finals this season. Other short odds to win are the Cleveland Cavaliers (+500), the Boston Celtics (+1200) and the San Antonio Spurs (+1500).

The Warriors are coming off winning their second NBA Finals in two years last season. The team has been led by the four-headed monster of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. The team is largely intact heading into this season, adding Nick Young in free agency. Golden State has won five NBA Championships.

The Cavaliers are coming off another Eastern Conference title last season, but they lost to the Warriors in the NBA Finals. Still, they remain a favorite in the East. This year’s team looks much different as they send Kyrie Irving to the Celtics in return for draft picks, Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and Ante Zizic. Thomas may not be able to play much this season, so LeBron James could be short-handed. However, the team also signed Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose in the offseason. Cleveland is looking to win its second NBA Fianls.

Bet on the NBA Futures Odds

The Spurs are coming off a 61-21 record last season in which they reached the conference finals before losing to the Warriors. To go with the likes of Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol, the team added Rudy Gay in the offseason in hopes to get stronger with the Warriors.

The Celtics are coming off a 53-29 record last season where it held the best record in the East before falling to the Cavs in the conference finals. The team was busy in the offseason, signing Gordon Hayward to a big contract while adding Irving to the roster in the big trade with Cleveland. The team also added Jayson Tatum in the NBA Draft. Boston is looking to win its 18th NBA Championship. The last title came in 2008.
