DAYS REMAINING: 5.
LISTEN LIKE LEBRON: Here’s the biggest story for LeBron James this summer. OK, probably not, but significant nonetheless. Monster Cable Products Inc. says James is set to launch his own headphones line. CEO Noel Lee says “sound quality really matters when you enjoy music.” Plus, if some team is talking to LeBron but he decides he no longer wants to listen, hey, just pop on the headphones and he’s good to go.
ities. Like Phoenix, for example.
DWYANE TV: Next Saturday, Heat fans will see Dwyane Wade play again. Four times, actually. Alas, all on TV. (Spoiler alert: Miami wins all four games). From noon to midnight, Sun Sports will air some of Wade’s greatest moments – one where he hit a game-winner against the Hornets in the 2004 playoffs, a playoff-spot-clinching game-winner against the Knicks in 2005, Game 3 of the 2006 NBA finals when he rallied Miami from a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter, and finally his double-OT heroics against Chicago in 2009.
TWEET OF THE DAY: “Was that celebration really necessary?” – Chris Bosh, moments after Ghana scored the first goal of what became its 2-1 overtime win over the United States in the round of 16 at the World Cup on Saturday.
