James Harden scored 31 points during a rough 102-100 home loss to the Spurs on Tuesday night, a loss that snapped a 10-game winning streak. The 31 points came with 10 rebounds, seven assists and one 3-pointer for Harden. The Rockets really struggled from the field, shooting 38-percent, which was the worst of the season. Houston is now 21-8 on the year and 19-10 against the spread.
For the Suns, Brandon Knight scored 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting in the team’s 115-108 loss to the Timberwolves on Monday. He added four assists, two rebounds and finished with three turnovers in 29 minutes of work. It was just his third game of the season in which Knight scored 20-plus points and his first since November 30.

OUR PREDICTION: It’s tempting to take the home dog with the Rockets coming off an emotional loss to the Spurs just last night, but I’m not overly excited to put my hand in that Houston buzz saw. Instead, I think the over is a better bet. The over has cashed in five of the last six meetings between these two teams and in six of the last seven in Phoenix. The over is also 8-3 in the Suns’ last 11 games overall, is 7-3 in their last 10 home games and is 5-2 in the Rockets’ last seven road games.
