Jazz vs. Rockets Pick
The Houston Rockets look to inch closer to .500 tonight when they host the Utah Jazz at 8PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from oddsmakers at RealBets, Houston is favored at home, as the Rockets are getting odds of -7.5 points against the Jazz. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 197 points.
Houston is 17-19 on the season, 10-9 at home and 13-23 against the spread. Utah is 15-19 overall, 5-11 on the road and 18-16 against the spread. These two met back on Jan. 4, with Houston getting a 93-91 road win as a 3.5-point favorite. Houston has won five of its last six against Utah, going 4-2 ATS in those six games.
Utah is playing without Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert. Houston has struggled against elite teams, but they seem to beat up on the small guys. All-Star guard James Harden has scored 30 points in two of his last three games. Even center Dwight Howard is playing well, shooting 31-of-42 from the field over his last four games. The Jazz don’t have anybody that can defend him as Jeff Withey will get the start.
