Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Lakers 7-point favorites over the Spurs on Tuesday night. The over/under total for this game is currently 194 and tip off is set for 10:30PM ET.
The Spurs come into Tuesday’s contest with a 61-19 overall record and are 25-14 on the road. According to latest NBA trends, they’re 44-34-2 against the spread and 25-13-1 ATS on the road this year.
The Lakers head into tonight’s game with a 55-25 overall record and are 29-11 at the Staples Center. They’re 37-42-1 against the number this year and just 15-25 ATS at home.
NBA Free Pick: The Spurs are starting to pick up some momentum after suffering a four-game losing streak at the end of March, beginning of April. They’re won four in a row, with their latest victory coming last week against the Jazz. They should be well rested and while they don’t have much to play for after having clinched the top spot in the West, they’ll still have an opportunity to win homecourt advantage throughout the entire postseason if they win their last two games. They could choose to rest guys like Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, although head coach Greg Popovich has yet to tip his hand as to whether or not his starters will play. If they do, seven points seems like a tremendous value, especially when you consider that the underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings between these two teams.
