Swingman presents matchup nightmare
Kevin Love has been arguably Cleveland’s most consistent scorer over the past two weeks. Yet a left knee injury will prevent the double-double fiend from taking the floor in Milwaukee tonight.
After suffering a contusion in Saturday’s 119-108 triumph over the Lakers, Love stands to miss his second contest of the season. Still, online sports book Bovada.lv gives the Cavaliers odds of -165 to handle their business on the road. Conversely, the Bucks represent +145 underdogs.
Tyronn Lue’s team is seeking revenge for its last trip to the Badger State. The Cavs dropped a 118-101 decision to Milwaukee on Nov. 29, letting Giannis Antetokounmpo amass 34 points and collect 12 rebounds. Jabari Parker chipped in 18 points for Jason Kidd’s crew, too.
This time around, though, don’t expect Cleveland (19-6) to enter the BMO Harris Bradley Center with such lethargy. LeBron James and his cohorts have won six of seven, obliterating New York, Miami, Memphis and Los Angeles along the way. Love’s likely replacement in the starting lineup, Richard Jefferson, also seems to delight in tormenting the Bucks.

While Milwaukee (13-12) indeed just swept a pair of games vs. Chicago, the Cavaliers are motoring toward that Christmas Day clash with Golden State with incredible vigor. There will be no letdown here. In fact, look for a rout in favor of the visitors.
