Spurs vs. Suns Prediction
Should bettors stay away from the Suns tonight when they host the Spurs at 6:00PM ET? Or is Phoenix a good play as a double-digit home dog?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Suns are 11-point home underdogs versus the Spurs while the over/under currently sits at 213.5 points. Both the point spread and total have moved off the original number posted by oddsmakers, as the Suns have gone from +10 to +11 and the over/under has dropped from 214.5 down to 213.5.
Kawhi Leonard had a big night for the Spurs in their 134-94 win over the Lakers on Thursday. He shot 10-of-13 from the field for 31 points with two rebounds, two assists, two steals, three 3-pointers and zero turnovers in 26 minutes of play. Leonard’s 24 points in the first half was a career-high as he also made 8-of-9 from the free-throw line.
Devin Booker was big for the Suns on Thursday against the Mavericks, hitting 14-of-19 shots for 39 points with three assists, one rebound, one steal and six 3-pointers in 37 minutes. He scored 29 points in the fourth quarter alone and he also matched his career-high in points while holding the record for most points scored in a regular-season game in Mexico.

OUR PREDICTION: The Suns have been a good bet at home of late, covering four of their last five games in Phoenix. They’re also 5-2 against the number in their last seven games overall, are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game, and are 7-2 at the betting window in their last nine home games when playing an opponent with a winning road record. The Spurs should win, but I like the Suns to keep it closer than expected.
