Hornets vs. Celtics Prediction
The Celtics are 5-point home favorites versus the Hornets on Monday night – will Boston cover when the teams tip-off at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Celtics are 5-point home favorites versus the Hornets while the over/under currently sits at 216 points. The point spread hasn’t moved off the original number, but the total opened at 217 before dropping a full point to 216.
Nicolas Batum scored 19 points with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes against the 76ers on Friday. Frank Kaminsky added five points and two rebounds while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 12 points during the 102-93 loss, adding 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.
Avery Bradley was a full participant during Sunday’s practice for the Celtics and barring any setbacks should be able to return tonight to face the Hornets. He spent the past four games on the sidelines due to an Achilles injury but is looking like he’ll return. Tyler Zeller (illness) is also seemingly close to returning as well.
