The Lakers are coming off back-to-back losses at the Mavericks and Blazers, although they did cover as an 8-point road underdog at Portland. Jordan Clarkson scored 22 points in 35 minutes versus the Blazers, while Lou Williams racked up 31 points with six 3-pointers, five assists, four rebounds and three steals.
The Jazz are also coming off back-to-back losses, dropping a 97-95 decision to the Thunder and a 103-93 deficit at the Nuggets. Utah has now failed to cover in five of its last six games. In their loss to Denver, George Hill scored 17 points, three rebounds, five assists, a steal and a 3-pointer, while Boris Diaw came off the bench to score a season-high 16 points. He also grabbed a rebound and had three assists.
