Dubs keep crushing all comers
Golden State, in the midst of a nine-game winning streak, looks as explosive as ever. So do the upstart Lakers have any chance of slowing down the reigning Western Conference champion tonight?
The two squads meet again at 10:30 p.m. ET. Online sports book Bovada.lv gives the visiting Warriors odds of -1400 to prevail. Conversely, Los Angeles represents a +750 underdog.
On Wednesday, Steve Kerr’s troops pounded the Lakers into submission. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson combined for 85 points in the Dubs’ 149-106 triumph. They also set a franchise record with 47 assists.
Meanwhile, Luke Walton is trying to devise a plan to keep his group competitive without D’Angelo Russell (knee) and Julius Randle (hip pointer). Veteran guard Lou Williams continues to be a pleasant surprise, averaging 16.6 points a tilt. Defensively, though, the Lakers are a mess. Opponents have hit 48.5 percent of their shots from the floor.
