Knicks vs. Raptors Prediction
Is the over a good play for bettors today when the Raptors host the Knicks at 3:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Raptors are now 9.5-point home favorites over the Knicks after opening as a 10.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 217 and has been bet up slightly to 217.5.
Kristaps Porzingis told reporters that he probably won’t play in Toronto today. He’s missed four of the Knicks’ last eight games due to an Achilles injury and the team is likely to take it slow with its 21-year-old star. Lance Thomas will start this afternoon assuming Porzingis won’t play, with Mindagugas Kuzminskas coming off the bench. Kuzminskas scored a career-high 19 points in Thursday’s 104-89 victory over the Bulls.
Kyle Lowry scored 20 points with six rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers in the Raptors’ 132-113 win on Friday. DeMarre Carroll also recorded his first double-double as a Raptor in the win, scoring 18 points with 11 rebounds and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes of play.
