Trail Blazers vs. 76ers Pick

Are the Portland Trail Blazers going to solve the host Philadephia 76ers tonight when they meet at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the 76ers are a 4.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 209 points.

Portland comes in with a 10-7 overall record and 6-8-3 ATS after a 100-92 victory at the Grizzlies. Philadelphia is 9-7 overall and 12-4 ATS following a 107-86 home win against the Jazz. The two meetings were split 1-1 straight up last season and the Sixers went 2-0 ATS. The over-under went 1-1.

The Trail Blazers were paced by CJ McCollum with 24 points and eight rebounds in the win at Memphis. Damian Lillard had 21 points and four assists. Shabazz Napier contributed 16 points, four assists and three rebounds off the bench. Noah Vonleh added 11 points and 18 boards. Portland outscored the hosts 28-21 in the fourth quarter.

In the 76ers’ win over Utah, Ben Simmons led the way with 27 points along with 10 rebounds and four steals. JJ Redick had 20 points and four assists. Joel Embiid added 15 points and 11 rebounds. The 76ers led 47-36 at halftime.

Portland is 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings overall and 1-4-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Philadelphia.

Bet on Trail Blazers vs. 76ers

Lillard sprained his ankle against Memphis but managed to return for the second half and is not listed on the injury report for this game. The perimeter play of Lillard and McCollum should play well in this contest against a 76ers squad that has been one of the NBA’s best stories in the early portion of the season. Look for Portland’s strong defense and the 3-point ball to help it cover the spread here.
