NBA Predictions Against the Spread: Magic vs. Trail Blazers 11/15/17

Magic vs. Trail Blazers Pick

Are the Orlando Magic going to keep it within the number tonight when they play the host Portland Trail Blazers at 10PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Trail Blazers are listed as a 5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 212 points.

Orlando comes in with an 8-6 overall and 8-6 ATS record after a 110-100 loss at the Warriors. Portland is 7-6 overall and 5-7-1 ATS following a 99-82 home win over the Nuggets. The two meetings last season were split 1-1 straight up and ATS. The over-under also went 1-1.

In the loss at Golden State, Nikola Vucevic led the way with 20 points along with five rebounds and four assists. Evan Fournier had 16 points and two steals. Jonathan Simmons added 13 points, four assists and four steals off the bench. The game was tied 56-56 at halftime, but Orlando was outscored 32-19 in the third quarter.

Jusuf Nurkic and CJ McCollum scored 17 points apiece for Portland in the victory over Denver. Damian Lillard contributed 15 points, seven assists, five rebounds and four steals. The Blazers led by five at halftime and proceeded to outscored the Nuggets 30-17 in the third quarter.

The Magic are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The under is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings.

Bet on Magic vs. Trail Blazers

Orlando has hit a recent rough patch on the last two legs of its road trip, losing at Denver and Golden State. But a loss by 10 at the Warriors, even without Steph Curry in the lineup, is a positive. Aside from one poor third quarter, the Magic performed admirably. This is a team with wins over the likes of the Cavs, Spurs and Grizzlies this season. Expect Orlando to cover the spread and maybe even win outright.
