Pelicans vs. Thunder Prediction
Are the Pelicans a good bet to cover tonight as a home underdog versus the Thunder at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Pelicans are 1.5-point home underdogs versus the Thunder while the over/under currently sits at 216.5 points. While the point spread hasn’t budged, the total hit the board at 215.5 and has been bet up to 216.5.
The Thunder have lost three of their last five games but are coming off a 97-95 win at Utah on Monday night. Russell Westbrook went off, scoring 38 points while hitting the game-winning mid-range jumper with just a couple of seconds remaining in the game. He recorded his 22nd triple-double of the season, adding 10 rebounds and 10 assists with four steals, one block and three 3-pointers.
The Pelicans have also dropped three of their last five but are coming off an impressive 124-122 win over the Cavaliers despite not having Anthony Davis in uniform. Davis did practice on Tuesday and is expected to play tonight versus the Thunder. Jrue Holiday is coming off a great game, hitting 12-of-19 shots, four 3-pointers and 5-of-5 free throws for a season-high 33 points, six rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and three blocks.
