LINE MOVEMENT

Miami opened as a 10.5-point favorite before the line grew by a couple points, while the total has gone up from 206.5. The Heat are at -12.5 almost everywhere, but if you shop around the spread can be found at -12. The total is at 207.5 at most books, but is as low as 206.5.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Tuesday afternoon, 60 percent of public bets are being placed on Miami. Online wager info also says that 58 percent of bets are on the under.

INJURY TO WATCH

Atlanta small forward DeAndre Bembry (abdominal) is probable to play tonight. Point guard Malcolm Delaney (ankle) is questionable. Point guard Jaylen Morris (ankle) is out until mid-April. Point guard Dennis Schroder (ankle) and shooting guard Kent Bazemore (knee) are out for the season. Shooting guard Antonius Cleveland (ankle) is out indefinitely. For the Heat, shooting guard Dion Waiters (ankle) is out for the season.

BETTING STRATEGY

Atlanta is even more short-handed now that Schroder and his sky-high usage rate have joined Bazemore on the shelf for the season. The Heat can clinch a playoff spot with a victory, so don’t expect them to take the Hawks lightly. The Heat defeated Atlanta 104-93 on their home court back in October and now the Hawks are without their top two scorers. Roll with Miami here despite the big spread.
