NBA Predictions: Can host Magic keep up with Wizards? 2/3/18

Wizards vs. Magic Pick

Are the host Orlando Magic a good underdog play for bettors tonight when they play the Washington Wizards? Tip-off is at 7PM ET.

Who Oddsmakers Like: Washington. According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Wizards are a 3.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 216.5 points. Washington opened as a 4.5-point fave, while the over-under has gone up from 215.5.

Bet Tonight’s NBA Action

Who the Public Likes: Orlando. As of Saturday afternoon, 51 percent of public bets have come in on the Magic.

Injury Report: Wizards point guard John Wall is out until late March as he recovers from knee surgery. Sheldon Mac is recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles and is out for the season. For the Magic, Aaron Gordon has missed the last two games with a strained hip flexor and is questionable tonight. Nikola Vucevic is out until late February with a broken hand. Terrence Ross is out indefinitely with a sprained MCL and tibia fracture.

Who the Trends Like: Washington is 5-2 ATS in its last seven meetings in Orlando. The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Orlando, but the over is 4-0 in the last four meetings overall.

Who We Like: Orlando will get healthy at some point this month as Gordon shouldn’t be out longer and isn’t yet ruled out for tonight, while Vucevic is getting closer to a return from the broken hand suffered at Washington. But right now, the Magic are without their two most explosive offensive players. Although Wall being out is a detriment to the Wizards, they can run their offense through Beal and still beat up on poor teams such as a depleted Orlando squad.

NBA DAILY PREDICTION: WASHINGTON WIZARDS -3.5
