Wizards vs. Hawks Game 6 Pick
Can the Atlanta Hawks force a Game 7 with the Washington Wizards when the two meet tonight in Game 6 at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Hawks are favored at home in this game, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Wizards. The over/under total for the game is listed at 210 points.
The Wizards took a 3-2 lead in the series thanks to a 103-99 victory in Game 5. The home team has won all five games in the series, but the Hawks have covered the spread in three straight. Washington is 52-35 overall, 19-24 on the road and 44-42-1 against the spread. Atlanta comes into tonight 45-42 overall, 25-18 at home and 42-45 against the spread.

Washington got the win on Wednesday. The Wizards played another efficient game at home, committing just six turnovers with 21 assists. John Wall remained great at home, putting up 20 points with 14 assists. Bradley Beal added 27 points with five rebounds. The Hawks struggled shooting in the loss, going just 9-of-31 from 3-point land and 38-of-93 from the field. Dennis Schroder had 29 points and 11 assists to lead the team while Paul Millsap had 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Atlanta has proven that it can contend with the Wizards in this series. This game should be another grind. If it gets out of hand, I am guessing it does in Atlanta’s favor. Both team have some players that shine at home and shy away on the road. I think Dwight Howard steps up at home to help limit the damage that Wall does with his ability to penetrate and get in the lane. Go with the Hawks at home.
