Pistons vs. Bucks Pick
Will the Detroit Pistons be able to win back-to-back road games tonight when they face the Milwaukee Bucks at 8PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Milwaukee is the slight favorite at home, as the Bucks are getting odds of -3 points against the Pistons. The over/under total for the game is listed at 209.5 points. These two have split the first two meetings of the season, both in Detroit. The Pistons have won four of the last five in the series.
Detroit is coming off a narrow 102-101 win at Toronto on Sunday for its fifth win in seven games. The Pistons are now 26-29 on the season overall and against the spread. Detroit is a team that relies on defense, as it averages just 101.5 points per game on offense while holding opponents to 101.9 per game on defense. Tobias Harris is putting up 16.5 points per game to lead the team while Andre Drummond is adding 14.6 points and 13.9 rebounds per contest.
Milwaukee is coming off a 116-100 win at Indianapolis for just its second win in its last nine games. The Bucks are now 23-30 overall and 21-32 against the spread. On the season, the Bucks are averaging 105.3 points on offense and allowing 105.3 on defense. However, over the last five games, Milwaukee scores 114.4 points per game and gives up 112.2 per contest. The team is still dealing with the recent loss of Jabari Parker for the season. He was averaging 20.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game before suffering a torn ACL. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the team leader with 23.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest.

The Pistons finally seem to be turning the corner this season and making a push for the playoffs. They are now tied with the Bulls for the seventh spot in the East and if they are serious about being a playoff team, they need to win a game like this on the road. The Bucks don’t have a lot of scoring options with Parker out and the Pistons are a team that can play well defensively. Drummond should be able to neutralize what Greg Monroe can do in the paint tonight, leaving it all on the Greek Freak for the Bucks. I like Detroit’s chances tonight.
