NBA Predictions: Hornets vs. Cavaliers 11/24/17

Hornets vs. Cavaliers Pick

Are the Charlotte Hornets going to stay within the number tonight when they face the host Cleveland Cavaliers at 8PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Cavaliers are listed as a 5.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 221 points.

Charlotte comes into play with a 8-9 record and 8-8-1 ATS after a 129-124 overtime home win over the Wizards. Cleveland is 11-7 overall and 6-11-1 following a 119-109 home victory over the Nets. The Cavs topped the host Hornets 115-107 in the first meeting this season on Nov. 15. Cleveland is 5-0 straight up and 4-0-1 ATS in five meetings since the start of last season. The over has gone 4-1.

In the win over Washington, Dwight Howard registered 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead the way. Kemba Walker tallied 24 points along with five rebounds and five assists. Jeremy Lamb added 24 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots off the bench. The Hornets outscored the Wizards 15-10 in overtime.

LeBron James paced the Cavs with 33 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals in the victory over Brooklyn. Kevin Love had 18 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Dwyane Wade added 18 points, five assists and four rebounds. Cleveland outscored the Nets 42-32 in the fourth quarter.

Charlotte is 1-9-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings.

Bet on Hornets vs. Cavaliers

The Cavaliers have had the Hornets’ number the last few seasons. With LeBron healthy enough to play after receiving 23 stitches due to a cut suffered last game, he’ll be ready to once again dominate Charlotte. This spread seems a point or two too low with Cleveland hosting. Take the Cavs.
