LINE MOVEMENT

Brooklyn opened as a 2.5-point favorite before the line moved more in its favor. The total opened at 217 before adding the hook. While the spread is -5 at most books, bettors looking at the total can shop around for 217 and 217.5 depending on the book.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Monday afternoon, 53 percent of bets have been placed on the Nets. Online wager info also states that 55 percent of bets are coming in on the over.

INJURY TO WATCH

Bulls small forward Paul Zipser missed the last game with a left foot injury and is questionable to play tonight. For the Nets, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (groin strain) and Caris LeVert (sprained knee) have been out of action but are expected to return tonight on minutes restrictions.

BETTING STRATEGY

Chicago won three of four meetings last season, but this is a much different Bulls squad without Jimmy Butler around anymore. The Nets haven’t been playing all that great, but if they can get anything productive out of Hollis-Jefferson and LeVert it would be a huge boost. There is going to be a lot of offense in this game with neither team good defensively. LeVert will help the Nets offense with distribution and bench production, while Hollis-Jefferson has arguably been the most important Brooklyn player. Expect an entertaining game tonight.
