NBA Predictions: Will Cavaliers, Bulls hit the over? 3/17/18

Bulls vs. Cavaliers Pick

Is the over a good bet to hit tonight when Cleveland Cavaliers play at the Chicago Bulls? Game time is slated for 8PM ET.

513 Cleveland Cavaliers at 514 Chicago Bulls, 8PM ET

CURRENT ODDS

According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Cavaliers are a 6.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 225 points.

Bet NBA Action For Saturday, March 17, 2018

LINE MOVEMENT

Cleveland opened as the 6.5-point favorite it is now, while the total has moved up a point from 224. The Cavs are -6.5 on the spread line at all books now, while the total can be found at either 224.5 or 225.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Saturday afternoon, 70 percent of public bets are siding with the Cavaliers. Online wager info also says that 56 percent of bets are coming in on the under.

INJURY TO WATCH

Cleveland small forward Cedi Osman (hip) is questionable tonight, while power forward Larry Nance Jr. (hamstring) along with shooting guard Kyle Korver (personal) and small forward Rodney Hood (undisclosed) are all out. Centers Kevin Love (hand) and Tristan Thompson (ankle) are both out until late March. For the Bulls, three players are questionable – small forward Paul Zipser (foot), point guard Zach LaVine (knee) and power forward Noah Vonleh (toe). Power forward Lauri Markkanen (back) and point guard Kris Dunn (toe) are both out.

BETTING STRATEGY

Two of the three meetings this season have featured at least 227 points and gone over the total. Cleveland won all three meetings straight up. While the Cavs haven’t been running anyone out of the gym lately, With the Bulls possessing one of the worst defenses in the NBA, I like the total to hit the over tonight.
