LINE MOVEMENT
Golden State opened as a 3-point favorite and that’s where the line remains at most online sportsbooks. As for the betting total, the number hit the board at 217 but has dropped to 215.5 at the majority of online sportsbooks.
PUBLIC BETTING
As of this writing, 61% of the betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Warriors to cover the point spread this evening. Meanwhile, 72% of the betting tickets are on the under.
KEY INJURY TO WATCH
The Warriors will be without three key pieces, including Kevin Durant (rib), Klay Thompson (thumb), and Stephen Curry (ankle). The Suns, meanwhile, could be without both Devin Booker (hand) and Tyson Chandler (neck), who are questionable.
BETTING STRATEGY
Even though the Warriors will be without Durant, Thompson and Curry, they still have enough to muck it up tonight and beat a horrendous Suns squad. Keep in mind that with those players out, a few bench pieces will get extended minutes to show what they can do and this isn’t a big number. The Suns are 1-9 straight up over their last 10 games and covered the spread just four times during that stretch. Phoenix is also 1-4 at the betting window in its last five games, is 1-5 against the number in its last six home games, and is 1-4 ATS in its last five conference matchups.
