LINE MOVEMENT

Cleveland opened as an 8-point favorite, while the total has come down a touch from 228.5. The Cavs are a 6.5-point fave at most books, but are at -7 at certain books such as YouWager. The total is 228 almost everywhere, although it can be found at 228.5.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Sunday morning, 86 percent of public bets are pouring in on the Cavaliers. Online wager info also shows that 53 percent of bets are coming in on the under.

INJURY TO WATCH

Cleveland small forward Cedi Osman (hip) and small forward Jeff Green (illness) are both questionable to play today. Shooting guard Kyle Korver (personal) will be out. For the Nets, the only injury is to Jeremy Lin (patellar tendon) as he was ruled out for the season after getting hurt in the season opener.

BETTING STRATEGY

Brooklyn has a nice assembly of young talent, but struggle to defend opposing bigs in the paint. That might not be as much of an issue in this game with Kevin Love not necessarily scoring most of his points from that area, while Tristan Thompson isn’t an offensive threat. Larry Nance Jr. could be an issue, but Rondae Hollis-Jefferson should be able to match up with him well. Brooklyn won the first meeting on its home court this season by a 112-107 score, so expecting the Cavs to win by seven or more in an early start time on the road seems like a reach.
