Spurs vs. Nets Prediction
Will tonight’s matchup between the Spurs and Nets be high-scoring at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Nets are now 11-point home underdogs versus the Spurs after opening as a 12.5-point dog. As for the total, the number hit the board at 216.5 but has been bet up to 217.5.
Following a 108-105 loss to the Suns, the Spurs have rattled off three consecutive victories, including a 118-115 win at Cleveland on Saturday. Kawhi Leonard scored a career-high 41 points with six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 46 minutes. He’s been sensational this season.
The Nets picked up a win over the Pelicans in New Orleans on Friday night and then fell 112-105 at Charlotte on Saturday. Brooklyn did cover the spread in both games, however, after failing to cover the number in six consecutive games. Over the weekend it was revealed that Jeremy Lin will miss another 3-5 weeks after aggravating his strained left hamstring.
