NBA Predictions: Will the Knicks, Nets stay under the betting total? 12/14/17

NBA Predictions: Will host Nets get best of Hawks? 12/2/17 NBA Predictions: Will host Nets get best of Hawks? 12/2/17

Knicks vs. Nets Pick

Are the New York Knicks and the host Brooklyn Nets going to play a lower-scoring game than what is projected tonight at 7:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Knicks and Nets are listed as a pick’em on the spread line. The over-under is set at 213 points.

New York comes in with a 14-13 overall record and 15-12 ATS after a 113-109 home overtime win over the Lakers. Brooklyn is 11-15 overall and 17-9 ATS following a 103-98 home victory against the Wizards. The Knicks won the first meeting this season on their home court by a count of 107-86 on Oct. 27. New York is 3-2 straight up and 3-2 ATS in five meetings since the start of last season. The under is 2-3.

The Knicks were paced by Kristaps Porzingis with 37 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots in the win over Los Angeles. Enes Kanter also had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Michael Beasley had 13 points, five rebounds and two assists off the bench. Frank Ntikilina added 13 points, five rebounds and five assists as a reserve. New York outscored LA 14-10 in overtime.

Brooklyn was led by Rondae Hollis-Jefferson with 16 points and 12 rebounds in the win versus Washington. Caris LeVert had 16 points, eight assists and three rebounds off the bench. Demarre Carroll added 15 points and eight rebounds. The Nets outscored the Wizards 52-47 in the second half.

The over is 7-2 in the last nine meetings in Brooklyn. The under is 4-0 in the last four Nets home games.

Bet on Knicks vs. Nets

New York needed overtime to get its total over 100 points against the Lakers, while the Nets struggled offensively against Washington and instead played very well on the defensive end to secure the win. The Knicks are 13-14 on over-unders this season, while Brooklyn is 11-13-2. It seems that the Nets’ totals have been set a bit too high in recent weeks and this is no exception. Roll with the under.
