Nuggets vs. Thunder Pick
The Oklahoma City Thunder look to close out their regular season with a win when they host the Denver Nuggets at 8PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Thunder are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -4.5 points against the Nuggets. The over/under total for the game is listed at 224 points. The Thunder have won and covered the spread in four straight against the Nuggets, including all three meetings this season.

The Thunder have won four of their last five games to move to 47-34 overall. OKC is locked into the sixth seed in the West and the Thunder will play the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs. The Thunder are 45-35-1 against the spread this season and over their last five games they average 103.6 on offense while allowing 100.4 on defense. Russell Westbrook could rest again, but still has secured a triple-double average for the season.
Denver is coming off a 109-91 win at Dallas last night to move to 39-42 overall. The Nuggets will finish outside of the playoff race this season and they are 45-35-1 against the spread after going 5-1 ATS in their last six. Over their last five games, Denver is averaging 114.8 on offense while allowing 108.8 on defense. Denver will be without leading scorer Danilo Gallinari, who has been shutdown to rest.
This game could be ugly, as both team will be without key players and Westbrook may not suit up at all. In this instance, I am going to go with the home team. The Nuggets are deflated by missing the playoffs and aren’t playing for a .500 record or better, so don’t expect much fight from them. OKC’s players will play hard at home in a rare chance to lead the squad and get the spotlight.
