Bet NBA Action For Wednesday, March 28, 2018

LINE MOVEMENT

Cleveland opened as a 3-point favorite, while the total has dropped from 228.5. Be sure to shop around because the spread can be found with Charlotte as a 1-point favorite and Cleveland as a 1-point fave in addition to other books that have it as a pick’em. The total is at 226 points at most books, but is also available at 226.5.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Wednesday afternoon, 72 percent of public bets are pouring in on the Cavaliers. Online wager info also states that 68 percent of bets are coming in on the under.

INJURY TO WATCH

Cleveland center Kevin Love (brain injury) is questionable to play tonight. Small forward Cedi Osman (hip) and shooting guard Kyle Korver (personal) are both out indefinitely. For the Hornets, center Cody Zeller (knee) is out indefinitely. Point guard Michael Carter-Willams (shoulder) is out for the season.

BETTING STRATEGY

The Cavaliers had their five-game win streak snapped last night with a 98-79 blowout loss at the Heat. With the quick turnaround here plus the fact Charlotte has had a day of rest accounts for the spread line. The Hornets are coming in with good form as they won 137-128 in overtime over the Knicks at home two nights ago. While all four victories have come against teams well out of the playoff picture, I still think a Charlotte team that plays very well at home (21-17 straight up) can get another win over weary Cleveland.
