Portland has won and covered the spread in three straight meetings with Minnesota, including two meetings this season. These two have hit the over in three of their last four meetings as well.
Minnesota has covered three of their last four games. Portland is a young athletic team, but they’ll meet their match against Zach LaVine, Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Wiggins and company. Minnesota lost by just three to Oklahoma City. They have been covering games lately, but just have difficultly finishing games. Towns, who had 32 points on 13-of-17 on Friday against Utah, should have a big game against a mediocre Portland frontcourt.
