Warriors vs. Nets Pick
Are the Golden State Warriors and host Brooklyn Nets going to pile up the points tonight when they meet at 6PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Warriors are set as an 11-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is 230 points.
Golden State comes in at 12-4 overall and 7-9 ATS after a 124-116 victory at Philadelphia. Brooklyn is 6-9 overall and 8-7 ATS following a 118-107 home win over the Jazz. The Warriors went 2-0 straight up and 1-1 ATS in two meetings last season. The over-under went 1-1.
The Warriors were paced by Steph Curry with 35 points, five rebounds and five assists in the win at the 76ers. Kevin Durant had 27 points and five boards. Klay Thompson added 17 points and four rebounds. Golden State trailed 47-28 after one quarter and 74-52 at halfitme, but proceeded to outscore the hosts 47-15 in the third quarter.
Brooklyn was led by Spencer Dinwiddie with 25 points, eight assists and five rebounds in the triumph over Utah. Allen Crabbe had 18 points, five rebounds and three assists. Demarre Carroll added 17 points, three assists and two steals. The Nets led 39-25 after one quarter.
The under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings, but the over is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Brooklyn.
Golden State will be without Durant as he rests a sprained ankle, but with sharpshooters like Curry and Thompson still around the offense will still function at a high clip. And offense is not an issue with the Nets. Expect this contest to be entertaining and sail over the total.
