Brooklyn Nets DFS Notes
Kevin Durant double-doubled during Sunday’s narrow loss to the Bucks with 42 points (16-of-33 FG, 3-of-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, seven triples, one steal and an unfortunate five turnovers across 40 minutes. The Bucks put a ton of pressure on KD, constantly crowding him whenever he touched the rock, which resulted in five, first-half turnovers, and he struggled to get his teammates involved today. He also only got to the line four times, so Milwaukee did a really nice job of staying in front of him without fouling. Despite all this, he still finished with a team-high 42 points and nearly sent the game to OT on Brooklyn’s final possession, but his last-second, 3-point shot fell short.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) busted loose for 49 points on 21-of-36 shooting Sunday, to go with eight rebounds, four assists, four triples, one steal, three swats and just one turnover across 36 minutes in a win over the Nets. Antetokounmpo skipped Friday’s win over Chicago with a minor ankle injury, but his ankle didn’t seem to give him any issues today, as showed some good explosion and his movement didn’t seem to be impeded at all on defense. He had a fun battle with Kevin Durant, constantly going back-and-forth exchanging buckets, and his 49 points tonight were the most an opposing player has scored vs. Brooklyn this season.
