Brooklyn Nets DFS Spin
Nets coach Jacque Vaughn said Friday that there has been no update on the status of suspended guardKyrie Irving. Irving was suspended for a minimum of five games, and there are a set of conditions laid out by the Nets and the NBA that he’ll have to meet before returning to action. Vaughn said that he still hasn’t spoken to Irving. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that among his sources there’s skepticism that the guard will be available on Sunday against the Lakers or Tuesday against the Kings. Irving’s continued absence makes Seth Curry an appealing fantasy option, while Edmond Sumner and Cam Thomas are worthy of streaming consideration.
Los Angeles Clippers DFS Spin
Kawhi Leonard (right knee injury management) is out for Saturday’s game against the Nets. Leonard will miss another game, but Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said Friday that he is getting closer to a return. How close? Well, that part remains unknown. Leonard did some 5-on-5 work before Friday’s practice, which is a positive sign. He did look good, but 5-on-5 against coaches and a few players is different from playing in an actual game. Fantasy managers who have Leonard stashed in an IL+ spot must remain patient.
