NBA Betting Trends
New York
The Knicks are 7-19 against the spread in their last 26 games playing on two days of rest and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games against a team with a losing home record.
Portland
The Blazers are 4-10-2 ATS in their last 16 home games, but 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games following a double-digit loss at home.
Prediction:
These two haven’t met this season, but the Blazers have won five straight encounters. The Knicks are headed out West with a new coach, but still have the same poor team. Their lack of offense is going to be a problem against the Blazers, who have a pair of guards that can score at will, especially on this New York defense. The Blazers aren’t a good defensive team, but that shouldn’t be as much of a problem today against the Knicks. New York just doesn’t have the shooter to capitalize on that.
NBA Prediction: Portland Trail Blazers -9
