Denver Nuggets DFS Notes
The Nuggets will sign DeMarcus Cousins to a second 10-day contract, according to Mike Singer of the Denver Post. Cousins’ first 10-day contract with the team expired earlier this week, and both Nuggets coach Michael Malone and Nikola Jokic spoke highly of him. So it should come as no surprise that Cousins will get a second stint with the team, and he’s expected to be available for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Boston Celtics DFS Notes
Jayson Tatum didn’t have to extend himself too much in Tuesday’s 126-91 win over the Nets, scoring 19 points (7-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs) with five rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes. Tatum has scored 19 points or less in three of Boston’s last four games, but Tuesday’s performance was much different than the prior four. In those games he shot just 40.0% from the field and 32.3% from beyond the arc; there were no such struggles in Brooklyn. Tatum and the Celtics led by as much as 35, the team’s second-largest lead of the season (they led the Kings by 60). So while the point total was low, the percentage shows that Tatum snapped out of his four-game slump Tuesday night.

The Nuggets are winless against the spread in their last four games against the Celtics and are 5-13-1 against the number in their last 19 games in Boston. They’re also 9-19 at the betting window in their last 28 road games versus an opponent with a winning home record, are 5-11 against the number in their last 16 games following an ATS win and are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on two days of rest. On the other side, the Celtics have covered in six of their last eight games as a favorite.
