Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Denver superstar center Nikola Jokic is probable for Friday’s tilt with Minnesota, as he’s been dealing with a sprained right wrist. He should be good to go against the Timberwolves in Game 3 and as such should be in consideration for your DFS lineup. Jokic nearly averaged a triple double this season with 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game. He likely won’t come cheap in DFS but may be worth the price in Game 3 on Friday.
Nuggets power forward Aaron Gordon might be a nice low-cost option in DFS this weekend. In two playoff games, Gordon is putting up 12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1 made three-pointer per game while shooting 50% from the field. He should get some good looks against Minnesota this weekend.
Minnesota Timberwolves DFS Spin
Timberwolves shooting guard Jaylen Nowell is officially listed as questionable for Friday night’s clash with the Nuggets. Nowell suited up for the Timberwolves first two playoff games and is averaging 7 points per game in 19 minutes per contest for Minnesota in the postseason.
Minnesota center Rudy Gobert is also listed as questionable for Friday’s Game 3 against Denver. Gobert has been battling back spasms. He’s also played in the Timberwolves first two playoff games and is averaging 13.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 32.5 minutes per contest.
Minnesota small forward Kyle Anderson could be a valuable DFS player on Friday. Anderson is contributing across multiple categories through two playoff games with per game averages of 10.5 points, 4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals. Playing at home could allow Anderson to shine against Denver on Friday.
Nuggets vs. Timberwolves NBA Betting Trends
Denver is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 first-round playoff games.
Denver is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Friday games.
Minnesota is 16-33-2 ATS in their last 51 Friday games.
Minnesota is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 first-round playoff games.
Nuggets vs. Timberwolves NBA Prediction
The Nuggets are the clearly superior team and have proved that thus far in this series. They’ve won the first two games of this series by an average of 19 points per game. Denver has been hot against the number of late too, as they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Nuggets have been great against the Timberwolves on the road the past few years as well. Denver is 23-7-1 ATS in their last 31 games against the Timberwolves in Minnesota. I believe the Nuggets are going to win this series in 4 or 5 games, and I think they take care of business in Minneapolis on Friday night.
