Denver Nuggets DFS Spin
Nikola Jokic provided a full line on Sunday with 22 points (9-for-12 FGs), 17 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in a 108-102 win over the Nets. Jokic’s production has remained incredible all season, but it was more important in this game as they were able to win just their second game in their last seven. After going three straight games without a triple-double, which was his longest drought since early December, Jokic got back on track in this game. He’ll have to have more games like this if he wants to take back over as the top producer in 9-cat leagues this season. Unfortunately, he’ll only get two chances next week to provide value.
Washington Wizards DFS Spin
Kristaps Porzingis shot 12-of-22 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 122-112 loss to the Magic, tallying 30 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes. Porzingis was the only Wizards player to score at least 20 points in Tuesday’s defeat, with this being his first game with at least 30 since March 8 (43 vs. Atlanta). After shooting 17-of-22 from the field in that game against the Hawks, Porzingis shot 37.5% from the field in the four games that followed. So Tuesday’s effort can be classified as a slump-buster for the big man, who has been a top-10 player in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. Porzingis sat out the second game of Washington’s most recent back-to-back (March 17-18), so fantasy managers should consider him questionable for Wednesday’s home game against the Nuggets.
