Magic snap losing streak
Orlando put an end to a three-game losing streak on Monday with a 122-103 win at Atlanta. The Magic are 20-27 overall, 8-14 on the road, 23-23-1 against the spread and 26-21 with the under.
The Magic have struggled on offense this season, scoring just 104.3 points per game while shooting 44.8 percent from the field. Defensively, the Magic are holding opponents to just 107.8 points per game. Nikola Vucevic is leading Orlando with 20.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. Aaron Gordon is adding 15.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest.

Brooklyn continues to play well as of late, currently on a four-game win streak following a dominant 123-94 win over Sacramento at home on Monday. The Nets have covered the spread in four straight games. Brooklyn is now 25-23 overall, 13-11 at home, 27-21 against the spread and 25-23 with the over.
The Nets are continuing to climb up the NBA rankings in offense. They now rank 15th in the league at 111.8 points per game while shooting 36.4 percent from the arc. Defensively, the Nets are giving up 111.7 points per contest. D’Angelo Russell is leading the way with 19.2 points and 6.4 assists per game while Spencer Dinwiddie is adding 17.0 points and 5.1 assists per contest.
NBA Betting Trends
Orlando
The Magic are 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on 1 day of rest.
Brooklyn
The Nets have covered the spread in five straight home games and in seven straight Wednesday games.
Prediction:
The Nets earned a 117-115 win at Orlando just five days ago and the Nets have covered the spread in five straight meetings with the Magic. Orlando has had a nice scoring surge for itself recently, but it also has dropped back defensively. The Nets are not just in a lucky streak, they have played pretty well for extended weeks and are a better team than Orlando. They have far superior guard play and their lack of consistent frontcourt play hasn’t hurt them much and I don’t think it will derail them tonight against Orlando.
NBA Prediction: Brooklyn Nets -5.5
