Orlando Magic Fantasy Spin
Aaron Gordon logged 39 minutes against the Wizards during a 95-91 loss on Friday, scoring 22 points with 11 rebounds, six assists, one block and two 3-pointers. His minutes were back up in a big way after just 25 in his return to the lineup following a two-game absence. Gordon was a little rusty shooting it early, leading to him making just 2-of-8 from three. He has been a bit of a mess in fantasy this year because he just can’t seem to put it together, but the Magic are expected to keep him after the deadline. If they do unload some players, perhaps that can open up some additional upside.
Houston Rockets Fantasy Spin
James Harden kept up his scoring on Friday against the Raptors, dropping 35 points (9-of-25 FGs, 15-of-15 FTs) with two rebounds, seven assists, one block and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes. Harden extended his 30-point game streak to 22 games with his effort here. He did have his 5+ 3-pointers streak snapped at five straight, though. The 35 points represent the lowest scoring output for Harden since Jan. 7, when he scored 32. Chris Paul (hamstring) is on track to return in the team’s next game on Sunday, which could hamper Harden’s historic run a bit, but it shouldn’t stop it.
