Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Magic are 1-point favorites to beat the Grizzlies. The total, meanwhile, sits at 207.5 points and as of this writing, 58% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Grizzlies to cover the point spread.
Orlando Magic Fantasy Spin
Nikola Vucevic did his thing with 20 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, two steals and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes during a 111-106 win over the Mavs on Friday. He’s one of the most consistent players in fantasy and he’s looking like a lock to be a top-10 player on the season. Vucevic has been even better since the break, averaging 21.0 points, 11.7 boards, 4.9 dimes, 1.6 blocks, 1.4 steals and 0.9 treys on a 55/46/68 shooting line in his previous seven. His schedule does get ugly in the upcoming two weeks, so his fantasy owners may need others on their team to step up.
Memphis Grizzlies Fantasy Spin
Avery Bradley (ankle) is probable for Sunday against the Magic. The Grizzlies continue to list him as probable, but Bradley has routinely hit minutes in the mid-30s. Bradley wasn’t great against the Jazz on Friday, but over his last five he’s averaged 17.2 points, 4.2 boards, 5.6 dimes, 1.2 steals and 2.4 treys. He could be worth using in standard leagues, but keep in mind the Grizzlies only have two games for the upcoming week.
NBA Betting Trends
Orlando
The Magic are 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games playing on only one day of rest.
Memphis
The Grizzlies have covered the spread in four straight games and are 5-2 at the betting window in their last seven games coming off a win.
Prediction
The Grizzlies certainly aren’t playing a team that is just trying to play out the final string of games to get to the offseason. Winners of four of their last six games, the Grizzlies have found some chemistry offensively and continue to play well defensively. Mike Coney is averaging 34 points in two games since sitting out a loss to the Thunder last Sunday and newcomer Jonas Valanciunas (acquired from Toronto in the Marc Gasol trade) averages 19.2 points on 61.5 percent shooting in his nine games with Memphis. While the Magic are fighting for their playoff lives, they didn’t finish well on Friday night in a 111-106 win over the Mavericks. Orlando is just 5-11 at the betting window in its last 16 games in Memphis, while the home team in this series is 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings.
