Orlando suffered a third consecutive loss, falling 107-85 in Game 4 at home on Sunday. The Magic have scored under 95 points in each of the last three games. Orlando is 43-43 overall, 18-25 on the road, 47-38-1 against the spread and 48-38 with the under.
The Magic continue to struggle offensively in this series. On Sunday, they were just 7 of 33 from the arc and 34 for 81 from the field. They also committed 17 turnovers. Nikola Vucevic was really limited, scoring just 11 points and pulling down only five rebounds. NBA Betting Trends
Orlando
The Magic are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five following a loss.
Toronto
The Raptors are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games playing on 1 day of rest and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 conference games.
Prediction:
This series have flip-flopped from competitive to non-competitive games. Toronto rolled on Sunday, so I think today’s game will be more competitive. Orlando still has a pretty good defense and the Magic know they need to keep the score low in order to win. Given their season is at stake, I would expect a little more energy from the Magic, especially early. Toronto is at home and feeling comfortable after a big win, so I could see them being a little lackluster and relying on their superior talent in the fourth quarter. I just feel the Raptors are giving up too many points tonight.
NBA Prediction: Orlando Magic +12
