Pacers vs. Pistons Public Betting: Bettors Love New York

Our NBA Public Betting Information page indicates that 67% of public bettors are currently backing the Pacers when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.

Haliburton questionable to face Pistons

Tyrese Haliburton (mild left groin strain) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pistons. Haliburton missed Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers with a groin injury, though the team officially labeled it a “mild strain.” That terminology could be considered encouraging and it’s possible that the 24-year-old point guard won’t miss anymore games. If he’s out again Thursday, Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell will both see extra minutes and playmaking responsibilities against the Pistons.

Cunningham drops 36 points in 32 minutes

Cade Cunningham had 36 points (14-of-27 FGs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in the Pistons’ 124-119 victory over the Knicks on Monday. Coming off a triple-double on Saturday, Cunningham dropped 36 points in 32 minutes and led the Pistons to a road victory over the Knicks. The 23-year-old point guard had 29 of his 36 points in the second half despite picking up his fourth foul in the second quarter. Cunningham continues to carry the Pistons and fantasy teams over the last month.

Pacers vs. Pistons NBA Prediction:

Take Indiana. Both of these teams are playing good ball at the moment. The Pistons have won back-to-back games and eight out of their last 10 games overall. The Pacers, meanwhile, are 7-3 in their last 10 games overall. Indiana has also taken seven out of 10 versus Detroit straight up and against the spread. These two teams have faced each other twice already, splitting those games. The Pacers have already won once in Detroit, knocking off the Pistons 115-109 as 5.5-point favorites. I’ll roll the dice that they can do it again.

Pacers vs. Pistons Betting Prediction: INDIANA PACERS +2
