New Orleans Pelicans DFS Notes
Zion Williamson experienced soreness in his right foot which has delayed his rehab. “When you’re dealing with injuries, when you ramp up some, there’s a possibility you can get a little soreness, which he’s dealing with now,” said coach Willie Green. “Hopefully the soreness goes away in a few days, and he can get back to work.” Yikes. This comes five days after Zion was cleared for full basketball activities. The Pelicans are “optimistic” that it is not serious “but will dial back [and then] ramp up in approximately a week,” according to Shams Charania. If you’ve been stashing him, it looks like you will have to keep waiting a while.
Houston Rockets DFS Notes
Kevin Porter Jr. (thigh) will not play on Sunday vs. the Pelicans. The Rockets are finally sitting KPJ after he had setback after setback. Eric Gordon has really stepped up lately, and Garrison Mathews has been a solid streamer as well. Armoni Brooks gets a bump with this news too, but he’s been hit or miss in recent games.
