New Orleans Pelicans DFS Notes
Brandon Ingram went off for 30 points on 14-of-21 shooting (2-of-4 free throws) to go with six rebounds, six assists, and two turnovers as the Pelicans beat the Clippers 105-101 on Friday night. Ingram had his foot on the gas from the tip in this one. He came out and scored 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting in the first quarter. He hit some tough shots down the stretch to help New Orleans punch their ticket to the postseason after starting the season 1-12. Trey Murphy was also huge down the stretch as he scored 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting (4-of-6 3-pointers) with five rebounds and two assists. He hit some clutch three-pointers to get the Pelicans over the hump after the Clippers took a 13-point lead with 10:51 remaining in the game. He went on to drill three triples over the final 10 minutes and the Pelicans stunned the Clippers on the road. They will travel to Phoenix where they will face the Suns on Sunday at 9:00 pm Eastern Time.
Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Cameron Payne said that his sore knee is fine and that he’s good to go for Game 1 on Sunday. We just got word that he practiced in full today, and he said himself that he’s “just juiced to play, man!” The enthusiasm is awesome but he’s back in his backup role behind the Point God, so he’s not the best guy to throw into DFS lineups.
