According to the latest oddsmakers, the 76ers are favored on the road, as they are getting odds of -2 points against the Warriors. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 226 points. The public betting currently has 55 percent of the wagers going on the 76ers as the road favorite. This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Philly grabs a road win

Philadelphia has struggled on the road this season, but managed a 125-108 win at Sacramento on Thursday night. Philly is now 38-25 on the season, 10-23 on the road, 27-32-4 against the spread and 32-30-1 with the over.

The 76ers are putting up 109.3 points per game on offense this season while shooting 46.4 percent as a team. Defensively, Philly is allowing 107.2 points per game while opponents shoot 46.1 percent from the field. Philly is without Ben Simmons (back) and Joel Embiid (shoulder) tonight. They are the two most productive players on the team. Josh Richardson, who averages 13.9 points per game, is also out tonight due to a concussion. Tobias Harris is the active leader right now with 19.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

Warriors fall in Curry’s return

The Golden State Warriors got Stephen Curry back on Thursday, but still suffered a 121-113 loss to the Toronto Raptors at home. The Warriors are now 14-49 on the season, 7-25 at home, 30-33 against the spread and 35-28 with the under.

Golden State is giving up 114.8 points per game on defense this season while opponents shoot 47.6 percent against them. Offensively, Golden State is putting up 106.1 points per game while shooting 43.6 percent from the field. The Warriors could be without Draymond Green tonight due to a knee injury. Curry had 23 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in 27 minutes during his return. Andrew Wiggins is averaging 20.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game through 10 games with the team.

NBA Betting Trends

Philadelphia

The 76ers are just 6-20-1 against the spread in their last 27 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games as a road favorite.

Golden State

The Warriors are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven home games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games as a home underdog.

Prediction:

This is a very tough call as both teams has some big red flags. The 76ers have been a mess on the road all season and have three of their top four scorers out. Golden State has been a mess all season, but do have Curry on the floor. Despite Curry’s return, the Warriors haven’t been terribly strong with him in his limited games this season. The team just doesn’t have much chemistry. Curry will be on a minutes restriction as well. Golden State doesn’t have much motivation to win games, since they are in the driver’s seat for the best chance at the No. 1 pick. Philly still is playing for playoff position. I don’t like it, but I am going with Philly as a road favorite tonight.

NBA Prediction: Philadelphia 76ers -2
